We go rain or shine. However, if we cancel for any reason, you'll get full refund. We will notify riders the night before if we need to cancel due to weather.
  • Do we need to purchase anything before hand?
While everything you need will be provided for your lesson, you may want to ensure you have your own water and other personal items. Eg. Sunscreen, rash guard, sunglasses, cap, towels, etc.
  • What’s our Covid-19 policy?
We abide by and will comply with any government/AHS restrictions or advice. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at

  • Can we book our club kids in your (regular) group lessons instead of Club Days?
Yes, of course! Keep in mind, there are only 5 spots for (regular) group lessons so if you have more kids than spots, they will not be riding together on the same day. Wahoo won’t also be able to customise your group experiences and activities. Please note: For summer 2023, we will only offer Private Lessons. For large group bookings, please contact us at
  • Can our club get the Charity “free ride” program?
Yes, but you must meet the following criteria: you’re a registered charity with CRA/AB; you can show financial need of each rider and/or the club; your club’s purpose must align with Wahoo’s purpose and mission. Wahoo has received sufficient grants, donation and funding support for our Charity program.
  • If we don’t qualify for the free Charity Event, do you have special group discount?"
As 2022 is our inaugural (first) year, we are offering special introductory pricing of $50/rider. After 2022, we anticipant an increase but will continue to offer the $50/rider to registered clubs. All proceeds from our donations, lessons and shop is how we can offer our Charity free rider program/event. So, thank you for supporting with us and our programs.
  • Why do you have limited Club days?
We depend on our volunteers: coaches, drivers, safety crews and guest ambassadors for our larger events. As such, we can only offer a few days during their availability. We hope to offer more clubs days and charity retreats in the future.
  • What do we need to qualify for the Wake the Lake – Free Charity event?
Registered charity # with CRA/AB; Financial Statements for the Charity and/or proof of financial need of each rider (ie. Wahoo reserves the right to decline any charity applications that do not align with our values and for any reason it deems appropriate.
  • How many Free Charity Days/events are you offering?
Depends on the funding, grant and donations we receive. Our hope is to provide at least 2 Free Charity Days/events over the summer months (annually) - so, approximately, 30 youth/kids that could come ride with us for free! So hurry, don’t delay in getting in touch with us!
